Yorkshire Wildlife Park

18th June 2018

Year 10 students visited Yorkshire Wildlife Park in Doncaster on Wednesday 13th June 2018.

Yorkshire Wildlife Park creates a dynamic, interactive experience and centre of excellence for the conservation and welfare of animals and promotes a wider understanding of the natural world and inspires generations to support and protect the world around them. The park has over 400 animals and 70 different species.

The purpose of the visit was to engage students in Science and their current area of study, which is Ecology. Students needed to understand animal adaptations and the biodiversity in a species and the world around them.
